Social Media Manger and Public Relations Intern

Job Description

We are seeking a Public Relations Intern (unpaid) for Summer 2023. The volunteer should have interests in the beauty industry AND experience in at least two skill sets: communications, public relations, social media, content creation, and video production to assist with all media, communications, and promotions efforts.

Tasks May Include:

• manage social media accounts
• create content for our website and social media accounts
• Help manage our list serves
• Help with communications and promotions with influencers and customers

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate student
• recent graduate
• experience using Canva
• Must be able to show portfolio of work samples
• Effective time management skills; ability to keep onself organized without supervision
• Photography, graphic design and videography experience are a bonus

Logistics:

• Job Type: Part-Time Internship
• Expected to work 10-15 hours per week (flexible)
• Benefits ability to telework
